In 2005, a1 Training was created as a division of a1 Security to ensure all a1 Security staff complied with the new Private Security Industry Act 2001, which came into force in 2006, stating that no front line security officer can work without a licence.

a1 Security is an SIA ACS approved contractor for Key Holding, and Static Guarding. a1 passed the audit with an extremely high score, putting us in the top 10% of Security providers in the UK. The company is also BS EN ISO 9001:2015 in Key Holding, Static Guarding and Training.
